In 2001, Don and Vanessa decided to move the store to the Southgate Mall and change the name to Vanessa Fine Jewelry.

In 2005, they opened a second location on Main Street at Lakewood Ranch that would serve Sarasota, Bradenton and the surrounding communities like University Park.

In Lakewood Ranch, they found what was missing from the mall settings, the ability to truly be a part of their community, so they closed the Southgate location to focus on their flagship store.

Vanessa began her career in fine jewelry with Gordon's Jewelers where she worked for many years and both Don and Vanessa have over 55 years of combined experience in the fine jewelry business.
